Founded in 2015 as the African Marketplace, the event was created to strengthen culture, build community, and support economic empowerment. After a transfer of ownership in 2023, the Marketplace expanded its vision with a stronger focus on vendor support, community engagement, and strategic marketing to increase visibility for local Black businesses.
In August 2025, we rebranded as the Nubian Family Marketplace to reflect our growing mission and our commitment to celebrating African and diasporic heritage while creating a welcoming space for all.
Today, the Marketplace is a hub where culture and commerce meet. We proudly promote our vendors, amplify small businesses, and use modern marketing strategies to help entrepreneurs reach larger audiences and grow their brands.
At the Nubian Family Marketplace, we’re building a village where business thrives through community, culture, and connection.
